1.The direct electrochemical synthesis of various complex fluorides of aluminum, gallium, and indium has been carried out by means of the anodic dissolution of the metal in the presence of a tetraalkylammonium fluoride polyhydrofluoride.2.The ability of each metal to form fluorine-containing ammonium complexes under the conditions of an electrochemical reaction decreases upon the transition from Al to Tl.
